Frequently Asked Questions INTRODUCTION : 1.       What is Model United Nations? Model United Nations is an authentic simulation of the UN General Assembly and other multilateral bodies like G20, G77 et cetera, where students step into the shoes of ambassadors from the UN member states to debate current issues on the organization’s agenda. 2.       How did Model UN begin? Model United Nations began as a series of student-led Model League of Nations simulations. When these simulations began they were called as International Assembly, the first of which was held at Oxford University in November 1921. Two years later, in 1923, the simulations were introduced at Harvard University where they gained popularity. After the Second World War, Model League of Nations transitioned to Model United Nations due to the formation of the League’s successor organization, the United Nations, in 1945. 3.       Are MUNs popular? TNV Youth Forum in Collabration with National Law College, Rawalpindi presents: TNVMUN'22 Asslam o Alaikum Everyone and a "very warm welcome" on the behalf of TNV Youth Forum. ✨ It's an honour, to have individuals from different institutes across Pakistan, to be on board with us.  From July onwards, Team TNV has been dedicated tirelessly to make TNVMUN'22 possible, which is such a reputed feat this nascent, non profit organisation is trying to achieve, by overcoming all the obstacles with strong leadership of founder, tireless efforts of advisory board, compelling and firm diligence of cabinet members (compromising both QAU and IIUI chapter) and indestructible cooperation and coordination of management team.  This year around we are conducting our first edition of All Pakistan Model United Nations [TNVMUN’22]. The event is scheduled, tentatively, on 21st-23rd October, 2022 . The event embodies 4 following committees; United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) Uni
